Este navio serviu nas no conflito das ilhas Falkland em 1982, ao serviço do Reino Unido contra a Argentina. Durante esta acção, foi atingido por um inimigo, que não conseguiu explodir as bombas no convés, mas deu início a um incêndio no navio. O navio Sir Lancelot permaneceu em serviço até 1989, quando foi vendido e se tornou num casino flutuante em Cape Town, África do Sul. This vessel served in the 1982 Falklands Conflict. During this action she was struck by an enemy bomb which failed to explode but started a fire. Sir Lancelot remained in service until 1989, when she was sold and became a floating casino at Capetown. She then went to the Singapore Navy in 1993 which sold her in 2003 to Glenn Defence Marine.
